No.4 Buffing Machine For Stainless Steel

Technical specifications

Plate thickness (mm)0.4~4.0
Plate width (mm)1250
Speed (m/min)6~20
Length of sheet(mm)6000 MAX
The total power unit (KW)150

Heavy-plate duty: this buffing machine works stainless steel plate up to a No.4 satin finish while holding flatness. Cloth wheels and compound do the final work, lifting the surface to No.4 satin after the abrasive stations have levelled it. The result is the familiar brushed satin surface — No.4 — with grain running consistently along the panel.

Working width runs to 1250. The working envelope also covers length of sheet at 6000 MAX, so the surface stays within tolerance across the batch.

What This Machine Does

This buffing machine is configured for No.4 satin finish on stainless steel plate. Compound application is metered per station, holding a consistent No.4 satin along the full length of the workpiece.

Installed power is 150.

In the configuration supplied: plate thickness 0.4~4.0; length of sheet 6000 MAX; speed 6~20; the total power unit 150.

What Sets It Apart

  • The bed is ground flat after welding, which is what keeps thin gauge material from marking.
  • The electrical cabinet is sealed and dust-rated for shop environments.
  • A central lubrication point serves the main bearings, cutting daily service to a few minutes.
  • Spindle bearings are selected for continuous duty rather than intermittent use.

Typical Applications

  • commercial kitchen equipment and countertops
  • shipbuilding and marine outfitters
  • handrails and trim sections
  • ventilation and duct components

Packing & Delivery

Standard export packing, container shipment, 30 days from deposit. Commissioning and operator training can be arranged after delivery.

FAQ

Can it be reconfigured for a different finish later?

Yes. Changing the abrasive sequence, and the belt or compound grade, moves the machine between finishes on stainless steel plate. The frame and drive train stay as they are; only the consumables and the stored recipe change.

What is involved in installation?

The machine ships as a complete unit. Foundations, power supply and extraction are the buyer's scope; commissioning and operator training for No.4 satin work are carried out on site after installation.
