A plate-handling buffing line for stainless steel plate, sized for the weight and length of full-size panels. The buffing section is what turns a levelled surface into No.4 satin, cutting haze rather than stock. No.4 is the directional satin finish specified for elevator cabs, kitchen equipment and architectural cladding.
It handles work up to 6000 MAX long. The working envelope also covers the total power unit at 150, so the surface stays within tolerance across the batch.
Product Description
This buffing machine is configured for No.4 satin finish on stainless steel plate. Buffing stations follow the grinding heads, using compound-loaded wheels to bring out No.4 satin.
Line speed is set at 6~20, depending on the finish required.
In the configuration supplied: plate width 1250; length of sheet 6000 MAX; the total power unit 150; plate thickness 0.4~4.0.
