Engineered for single-sheet work, it brings stainless steel sheet to a No.4 satin finish in one pass through the polishing station. Polishing proceeds in defined stages — cut, refine, finish — so No.4 satin is arrived at rather than forced. The result is the familiar brushed satin surface — No.4 — with grain running consistently along the panel.
The working section is configured with No.4. The working envelope also covers roller dimensions at 300mm, so the surface stays within tolerance across the batch.
How It Works
This polishing machine is configured for No.4 satin finish on stainless steel sheet. Abrasive heads run in sequence, each one finer than the last, so the surface moves from a ground state to No.4 satin without changing setup.
Working width runs to 900,1250,1500mm, customized available.
This build runs to working width 900,1250,1500mm, customized available and abrasive belt width Depending on the sheet width, with abrasive belt length 2620mm and sheet size 1250X2500mm 1550X3000mm customized available.
Key Features
- Guide rolls are crowned and adjustable, keeping the strip or sheet tracking true through the machine.
- The control system stores recipes per grade and thickness, which shortens changeover between jobs.
- The auto suction unit holds sheet flat on the bed, so thin gauge material does not lift during the pass.
- The frame is stress-relieved before machining, which keeps the working heads in alignment under load.
Where It Is Used
- ventilation and duct components
- door frames and architraves
- fabrication shops working cut-to-length sheet
- hospital and laboratory cabinetry

FAQ
What is involved in installation?
The machine ships as a complete unit. Foundations, power supply and extraction are the buyer's scope; commissioning and operator training for No.4 satin work are carried out on site after installation.
Can it be reconfigured for a different finish later?
Yes. Changing the abrasive sequence, and the belt or compound grade, moves the machine between finishes on stainless steel sheet. The frame and drive train stay as they are; only the consumables and the stored recipe change.
