Built for continuous No.8 / 8K super mirror finish production on stainless steel coil, this line takes the coil from uncoiler to recoiler in one pass. Polishing proceeds in defined stages — cut, refine, finish — so 8K mirror is arrived at rather than forced. Super mirror (8K / No.8) is the top of the range, specified where the panel has to be genuinely reflective.
Grades routinely run through it include JIS200,300 series. The working envelope also covers coil thickness at 0.3~2.0, so the surface stays within tolerance across the batch.
Product Description
This polishing machine is configured for No.8 / 8K super mirror finish on stainless steel coil. The polishing train combines belt and wheel stations, letting one line cover both stock removal and final 8K mirror.
Line speed is set at 1.5, depending on the finish required.
As specified here — grade of sheet JIS200,300 series, coil thickness 0.3~2.0, sheet thickness 0.6~3.0, feeding speed 1.5.
What Sets It Apart
- Change parts are labelled and stored on the machine, which keeps setup consistent between shifts.
- A central lubrication point serves the main bearings, cutting daily service to a few minutes.
- Feed and pressure are set from a single panel, so an operator can correct the finish without leaving the station.
- Oil-type grinding carries the swarf away and keeps the abrasive cool, giving a cleaner surface on long runs.
Applications
- reflective ceiling panels
- coil processors supplying cut-to-length
- mirror-finish door skins
- art installations and sculpture

FAQ
Is the machine suitable for thin gauge stainless steel coil?
Within the thickness range listed above, yes. Thin material is supported across its full width through the polishing station, which is what stops it from lifting or marking on the way through.
What grades of stainless steel can this polishing machine handle?
The austenitic and ferritic grades used for surface-critical stainless steel coil work run through it — 304, 316, 430, 439 and 445 among others. The abrasive sequence is matched to the grade, so mixed batches can be run without changing hardware.
