Turn-Key Field Engineering for International Clients
Delivering high-end stainless steel finishing equipment overseas requires more than physical container delivery—it demands rigorous on-site assembly, precise optical alignment, electrical commissioning, and comprehensive plant personnel training. In this overseas turn-key project, OUYIGANG successfully completed the complete installation and handover of an automated coil-to-coil polishing and grinding production line.
Project Scope and On-Site Execution
- Engineering Dispatch: OUYIGANG sent a dedicated team of three senior field engineers—covering mechanical alignment, electrical/automation commissioning, and chemical grinding process optimization.
- Foundation Leveling and Mechanical Anchoring: Utilizing precision optical transit levels and laser alignment instruments, all uncoiler, entry pinch, multi-head grinding units, cleaning stations, and recoilers were aligned across the 35-meter line length within ±0.2 mm tolerances.
- Electrical Integration and Sensor Calibration: Completed field wiring between main control consoles, pneumatic valving, servo tension controls, and variable-frequency motor drives.
- Process Parameter Optimization: Tuned water-to-abrasive pressure ratios, belt oscillation frequencies, and multi-stage grit sequences to match local water hardness and target decorative surface specifications.
- Client Operator & Maintenance Training: Conducted 5 days of structured hands-on training for client technicians, covering daily abrasive belt replacement, spindle bearing lubrication cycles, HMI recipe management, and emergency troubleshooting.
Outcome: Immediate High-Yield Commercial Output
Within 10 days of arrival on site, the production line achieved continuous commercial output, consistently delivering No.4 satin and hairline coils that met the client’s exacting automotive and elevator manufacturing client standards.
